EM035: Chill out was an album I once heard

This month, for something very different, we have a reworking of the KLF classic album "Chill Out", by Bovine Boy. He has been hunting down all of the samples from the original album for many years, and this recording (EM035) is the sum total of that effort.

ABSENT KELLY PRESENT: ORBITAL AFTER SHOW PARTY FEATURING PHIL HARTNOLL (ORBITAL) DJ SET

Phil Hartnoll

Following the Orbital gig at Brixton's O2 Academy, Jamm will be hosting an after-show party with a headline DJ set from one of the band members, Phil Hartnoll.

Orbital have been producing the best electronic beats in the UK for well over two decades and are renowned amongst music lovers and festival goers across the globe. Brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, the two men behind Orbital, ever since the release of their anthem 'Chime' have been at the forefront of the dance music scene, with groundbreaking productions and performances attracting the duo fans from around the world. Their headline performance at Glastonbury in 1994 is still talked about and was seen as a real breakthrough for dance music and its place at Glastonbury festival and established Orbital as a powerful live entity to a wider audience.

Phil Hartnoll will be playing a DJ set on the night, shortly after playing at Brixton Academy Over the past ten years, Phil has established himself as a prominent solo DJ. He draws much inspiration from music that other producers are making, and loves searching through tunes in order to find that perfect juicy track. Phil's DJ sets are streamlined while still maintaining unpredictability and eclecticism. While he loves to mix it up, playing old tracks and new, the message it always the same – it's party time.
We have no doubt that this night at Jamm will take the roof off. We know from experience what Phil Hartnoll's DJ sets can do to Jamm's dance floor, so make sure you do not miss this night. In addition to Phil Hartnoll, Jamm will be creating a support line up of the finest artists and DJs that will see venues foundations shaking until dawn..

The latest album from Macrocosm is now out, titled "Is this what you were looking for?".

It is available on CD Baby, Amazon.com, iTunes and many other places!
